I am very happy that the Serian District council has taken the initiative to launch this project in conjunction with the the current technology development.

This is one of the proactive steps taken to ensure the development of the e-Council. Nowadays, Information Technology (IT) plays an important role in the development of a country with the society that can culturalize Information Technology such as Malaysia.

The district has acted very much appropriate and concurrently with the Government's efforts to transform Malaysia into the pioneer in the field of IT in this region through the development of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) and the launch of the National IT Agenda to achieve one of the seven premier applications - the Electronic Goverment.Therefore, this website will be very useful to the society.

Finally, I would hope that the Serian District Council will retain its perceptiveness and be tactful in overcoming obstacles in the coming future through this website.
